The Treatment

What Is an Acne Peel?

An acne peel is a targeted chemical exfoliation treatment specifically formulated for skin prone to breakouts, congestion, and post-acne discoloration. Unlike a standard chemical peel, an acne peel uses a precise blend of acids — typically salicylic, glycolic, or lactic acid — chosen specifically to penetrate pores, dissolve sebum, reduce inflammation, and accelerate cell turnover in acne-affected skin.

At Central Spa Care, your acne peel formula is customized at every appointment based on your current skin condition, breakout severity, and how your skin has responded to previous treatments. No cookie-cutter protocols here.

Why It Works

Acne Peel Benefits

Clears Active Breakouts
Acids penetrate pores to dissolve sebum, bacteria, and debris driving current blemishes

Fades Post-Acne Marks
Accelerated cell turnover visibly lightens red, brown, and dark post-breakout spots

The Experience

Your Acne Peel — Step by Step

01
Skin Assessment
Your provider evaluates your current breakout severity, skin sensitivity, and post-acne discoloration to select the ideal acid blend and concentration for your skin today.
02
Deep Cleanse & Prep
The skin is thoroughly cleansed and degreased to remove excess oil and makeup, ensuring the peel penetrates evenly and effectively.
03
Peel Application
The acne-specific acid formula is applied precisely. You may feel mild tingling or a light warmth — this is the peel working to dissolve congestion and accelerate cell turnover.
04
Neutralization & Soothing Treatment
The peel is neutralized at the ideal moment. A calming, anti-inflammatory mask is applied to reduce redness and support your skin's healing process.
05
Aftercare Instructions
You leave with detailed, personalized aftercare guidance and SPF. Your provider recommends a home care routine to extend and enhance your results between sessions.

Total treatment time: 45–60 minutes.

Getting the Best Results

How Many Sessions Will I Need?

For mild congestion or occasional breakouts, a single acne peel can produce a meaningful improvement. For clients with persistent or moderate-to-severe acne, a series of 4–6 peels spaced 3–4 weeks apart is recommended to achieve significant, lasting skin clarity.

Many clients incorporate acne peels into their regular skincare routine through our Membership Program, which provides discounted access to monthly treatments for consistent, ongoing results.
